Sweepstakes and social bingo platforms
Sweepstakes casinos usually separate entertainment play from a promotional currency that can become eligible for prize redemption. Labels and rules differ by operator. Use the current official rules when they differ from this general explanation.
Platforms covered
Section titled “Platforms covered”Pulsz Bingo is the bingo-focused product in this directory. Chumba Casino is a two-currency sweepstakes casino whose public catalog includes Calavera Bingo. Chumba is not a dedicated bingo room.
Gold Coins and promotional coins
Section titled “Gold Coins and promotional coins”Gold Coins, or an equivalent social currency, are used for entertainment play and are not redeemed for cash. A purchase commonly buys these coins. The operator may add promotional Sweeps Coins as a bonus, but the rules should keep the two currencies distinct.
Sweeps Coins are promotional entries or play units. A platform can provide them through purchase promotions, daily claims, social promotions, or an alternative method of entry that does not require a purchase. After eligible play and verification, a qualifying balance may be redeemed for prizes.

The free entry route
Section titled “The free entry route”A sweepstakes should have a no-purchase route. The official rules state how to use it, what information is required, how entries are credited, and whether limits apply. Follow those directions exactly. A social-media comment or customer-support message is not a substitute for the official method.
Redemption is conditional
Section titled “Redemption is conditional”A displayed Sweeps Coin balance is not necessarily ready for redemption. Rules can require the promotional value to be played, impose a minimum prize request, limit available methods, and require identity or address documents. The operator can review fraud, duplicate accounts, location, payment history, and compliance issues.
Separate these stages:
- earning or receiving promotional currency;
- completing any required eligible play;
- requesting a prize redemption;
- passing platform review;
- receiving the prize through the selected rail.
State exclusions can change
Section titled “State exclusions can change”A platform can exclude a state or substate jurisdiction in its rules even if its website opens there. Account registration, promotional entry, and redemption can each have a separate check. Use the current eligibility list, not an old review or cached app-store description.
Cost and expected value
Section titled “Cost and expected value”A Gold Coin package price does not directly state a gambling return. Promotions, game rules, prize values, and redemption restrictions all affect the economics. Do not treat a package’s promotional coin quantity as guaranteed cash value. The platform rules determine when and how a prize can be claimed.
